The boat graveyard at Purton on the River Severn (the boats were used to shore up the canal that runs next to the river starting in 1909- find out more here) – it’s the place to go for colourful weathered wood, a photographers dream.
It’s been a while but here’s some more ‘looking through’ see here for a little bit more. Dock leaves are abundant again, oh the fun to be had!
Bluebell woodland in Spring (for some folklore see here - I did walk through some though and wasn’t spirited away!) a sea of blue with the fresh green leaves, magical.
